Oleh Lafox

Hello! My name is Oleh Lafox, and I live in Berlin, in the Charlottenburg district. I play bass guitar in an art-rock band called Darwin's Cat. My best friend, Alice Lafox, she is my family, and she also part of the band. Alice Lafox plays guitar, drums, and sings. We create music together, we play togeder and travel together. Thats cool.

In my free time, I listen to amasing music (ours, of course), drink tea, write lyrics for our songs, and help record and release our music. Yes, I write poetry for Darwin's Cat and also work as the Darwin's Cat band’s sound producer.

When I’m not making music, I work in full time job as a Senior Full Stack Software Developer at a company called Idealo. Yes, I try to make the world a better place here too.

That’s what I do in winter. In summer, Alice Lafox, our cat Loki Lafox, and I travel together. I work, write, and play my travel bass guitar. It’s called Spirit, and it fits perfectly into our RV because it’s small and portable. While traveling, I work for many, play music with Alice Lafox for fan, write poetry for enjoy, and, of course, pet the cat Loki Lafox.

In spring and autumn, when the weather is not too hot, I prefer the south – places like Spain or Croatia.

In summer, I enjoy the cooler Nordic countries, especially Denmark and Sweden. It’s not too warm, and swimming is optional. In autumn, we return to Berlin to record the new songs Alice Lafox and I came up with during the summer.
